Spoiled Pet Cafe is always excited to share images from recent farmers’ markets that we participate in. This can give visitors to the website, who may not be familiar with the Knoxville Market Square Farmers’ Market, a taste of what the different events we participate in are like. While there are many different farmers’ markets around the country, they all tend to have their own flavor. We also think it is fun for market visitors to be able to see themselves on our slideshow. We hope you enjoy the Spoiled Pet Cafe slideshow from the June 19th market.

Spoiled Pet Cafe is always happy to share images from the events we vend at. From Expos in Louisville, Nashville, and Knoxville to our local farmers’ markets at New Harvest Park and Market Square we try to take time to get some great candid shots of our fellow vendors, colorful visitors, and our animal companions. You may even be featured in one of these slideshows (though we do respect your privacy and will happily not photograph you if you wish)! With that prelude, I am happy to share our latest slideshow with you.

Spoiled Pet Cafe was happy to once again vend at the Knoxville, Tennessee Market Square Farmers’ Market. This was an exciting day as the farmers’ market coincided with the 1st Annual Biscuit Festival. This meant that even more people were out and about enjoying Market Square and the adjoining Krutch Park. The overall mood of the vendors and the patrons was very jovial and upbeat. The music from the Biscuit Festival was a welcome addition. Below you will see a slideshow from the day’s festivities. We hope to see you at one of the upcoming Market Square Farmers’ Markets; this market runs every Wednesday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and every Saturday from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm through November.

Spoiled Pet Cafe was happy to be one of many vendors at the recent Louisville, Kentucky Expo over the long Memorial Day weekend. There was a very positive air from both the vendors and the expo attendees which undoubtedly helped the make it a huge success. We are really looking forward to the upcoming Nashville Expo the weekend of June 25th through June 27th at the Tennessee state fairgrounds and the 4th of July expo in Louisville, Kentucky.

Today, May 22nd 2010,  was in the low 80’s but the cool breezes made it really nice. Danny Thornton of Spoiled Pet Cafe walked around the market today and photographed some of the colorful sights from the Market Square Farmers’ Market. I have collected this week’s images into another slideshow. You may even be featured in an upcoming slideshow! As an FYI, Spoiled Pet Cafe will not be at the upcoming Market Square Farmers’ Market on Saturday, May 29, 2010 as we will be vending at the Louisville, Kentucky Expo. Look for an upcoming post with all the details of this Kentucky event!

This past Saturday, May 1st 2010,  was a beautiful day in Knoxville. The weather got into the low 80′s but the cool breezes made it feel quite nice. As usual, Danny Thornton of Spoiled Pet Cafe ventured out to photograph some of the colorful sights from the Market Square Farmers’ Market. For your viewing pleasure, I have collected this week’s photos into another slideshow; if you missed the slideshow from the opening day festivities of the Market Square Farmers’ Market, you can check it out HERE. We hope to see you (and your humans) at the market soon; who knows you may even be featured in an upcoming slideshow!

Though the weather reports were grim and threatened to make the opening day of Knoxville’s Market Square Farmers’ Market a dud, this simply was not what happened. Yes storm and severe weather were reportedly happening in the area and adjacent counties, the Market Square Farmers’ Market was blissfully spared. With temps in the mid 70s and cool breezes right up until the first raindrops began to fall just before the closing (cow)bell, the day could not have been more ideal. And with this type of beautiful weather, the crowds were large and diverse. Though I appreciate the best efforts of the weather people, I am happy that their predictions were incorrect. I want to thank all of the beautiful, happy, and well behaved canines who brought their humans to visit us. From morning’s gorgeous sunrise until the raindrops began to fall, below are some of the images from the opening day festivities, look closely you (and maybe your human) could be there!
