Over this past Labor Day weekend, Spoiled Pet Cafe participated in both the Labor Day Spectacular hosted by Stewart Promotions and the Kentuckiana Cat Club Championship. Both of these events were held at the Kentucky State Fairgrounds. This was the first cat show for Spoiled Pet Cafe so we really didn’t know what to expect. We were happy to see quite a variety of cats and a small but dedicated group of cat enthusiasts. In addition to the warm reception we were given by the cat club, spectators, and exhibitors we were happy to be a part of the 50th Anniversary celebration for the Kentuckiana Cat Club.

Images From The 2011 Kentucky State Fair
Spoiled Pet Cafe had an excellent experience in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky State Fair. There was a tremendous variety of everything from vendors to exhibitors to entertainment. This variety carried through to the food vendors as well; can you say fried kool-aid? fried derby pie? fried…okay so all this fried yumminess may not be the healthiest but the fair is only once a year

Spoiled Pet Cafe was happy to participate in the 42nd Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. It was great to see returning customers and have the opportunity to meet lots of new folks. In addition to all the wonderful car owners and spectators were lots of those furry, four-legged family members that always hold special places in our heart. Though there were nearly 400 fewer cars at this year’s event there were still just over 10,000 cars entered! The reduced number of cars did not diminish the excitement of the car enthusiasts who turned out in droves. This remains one of the shows that we recommend enthusiastically to other vendors and of course to automobile aficionados.

42nd Annual Street Rod Nationals 2011
Are you a car guy? Are you a car gal? How about those classic street rods whose mere site transports you to another time and place? Then the 42nd Annual Street Rod Nationals (NSRA) is the ‘Can’t Miss’ show of the year. The Kentucky State Fairgrounds in Louisville, KY is ground zero for car fanatics from around the world. Though it may be difficult to imagine anyone who likes to ride in cars more than the people who take pride in restoring and caring for them, you can’t forget those furry, four-legged family members who may literally do backflips at the mere suggestion of a ride in the car. Where there are car people, there are dogs who love to ride! Spoiled Pet Cafe is excited to return to Louisville, Kentucky for this premier event. We will of course have all of our high quality pet products and some that can help make travelling in those fantastic cars more pleasant for everyone. Don’t forget to check out the car blankets, car harnesses, travel water bowls, toys to chew on, and of course the most fashionable of pet apparel!

The Louisville Expo
This weekend Spoiled Pet Cafe hits the road once again as we journey north to Louisville, Kentucky. This trip will see us doing to consecutive shows, the first of which is the Stewart Flea Market at the Kentucky State Fairgrounds and the second is the 42nd Annual Street Rod Nationals (NSRA) enormous national event also at the Kentucky State Fairgrounds. At the flea market we will have our enourmous offering of pet supplies. From our always popular three wheel pet strollers to our super posh bicycle strollers that have a 100 lb. capacity! Generally our bicycle strollers are by special pre-order only but because of the NSRA show the following week we will be bringing a limited number with us to both shows; provided of course they don’t sell out at the flea market! We look forward to seeing you and your four-legged family member this weekend.

After a much needed week of rest Spoiled Pet Cafe will once again be heading to Louisville, Kentucky for the Stewart Promotions Flea Market. For those Louisville (and surrounding area) residents who missed us at the 48th Annual Carl Casper’s Custom and Louisville New Car Show, we will be bringing our full line of spring and summer pet apparrel, pet life vests, and the latest in dog and cat toys and accessories to this Stewart Promotions show. And with St. Patrick’s Day being Thursday, March 17th, don’t forget to pick up those green hairbows so your furry, four-legged companion can celebrate too!

Spoiled Pet Cafe had an excellent time at the 48th Annual Carl Casper’s Custom And The Louisville New Car Show. It was exciting to see the dedication car owners put into the restoration and preservation of a true slice of Americana represented at the show. There were beautiful cars ranging from the earliest of Fords to the Edison II and everything in between. It was also exciting to see the newest in American, European, and Asian automobile innovations in the new car area of the show. Perhaps the best bit of the show was the sheer number of people who turned out to marvel at the past and future technology represented. Below is a slideshow of images from the show.

Hot on the heels of the roaringly successful 54th Annual Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow, Spoiled Pet Cafe travels again to Louisville, Kentucky. If you happened by our ‘super-sized’ booth this past week but neglected to pick up that special item for your furry four-legged family member don’t worry…we will be back in our usual spot in the West Wing of the Kentucky Expo Center for the Stewart Promotions Flea Market! If you weren’t able to make it by our booth recently you should really make it a point to visit us because we have added numerous products that both your furry friends and you will love. And speaking of love…Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and we have an excellent selection of the latest in apparel, hairbows, and ‘bling bling’ to… 
The 54th Annual Louisville Boat, RV, and Sportshow
Though the snow is just melting and more is forecast for Louisville tonight and in the coming days, this Spoiled Pet Cafe is in the midst of the sportshow season. Tomorrow is the kickoff of the 54th Annual Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow put on by the National Marine Manufacturers Association – NMMA.
NMMA is one of the premier organizations that works on behalf of the boating industry. According to their own website:
NMMA programs and services are designed to serve the best interests of its members and the recreational boating industry. To that end, NMMA:
Represents the industry on public policy issues, advocating at state and federal levels to protect the interests of the marine industry and the users of products
Collects, analyzes and distributes industry, economic and market data; NMMA is the industry’s primary source of recreational boating research, statistics and technical data.
Promotes recreational boating through consumer outreach
Provide information/represent the industry’s interests to the media and other public entities.
Produces boat and sport shows in key North American markets to provide quality sales venues for exhibitors and consumers
Co-owns/produces trade events IBEX (International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference) and the MAATS Aftermarket Pavilion to generate business opportunities for marine companies
Works to create opportunities overseas; offers information and services to help members expand into the global marketplace
