A fun splash pad, walking trails, and of course the farmers’ market make Knoxville’s New Harvest Park the place to be for people of all ages on Thursday afternoons! Not only does Spoiled Pet Cafe think this is true but so do the farmers, bakers, other vendors and of course the patrons who can be found at this excellent local park. Wednesday is the perfect day to take an afternoon break from the stresses of the work week. Whether this means a stroll in a local park or having a relaxing lunch with family, friends, or co-workers, take time to take a breath. If you live or work in downtown Knoxville then the Market Square Farmers’ Market might be just the ticket. You can take a leisurely stroll among the many vendors and maybe pick up a loaf of fresh bread and locally grown produce for dinner or sample some of the wonderful gourmet chicken salads or other fresh fare that is available. If you have the need to satisfy that sweet tooth there are some wonderful cookies, danishes, and scones that are always a huge hit. And once you satisfy your rumbling tummy, don’t forget to pick up some delicious, all natural gourmet cat and dog treats from Spoiled Pet Cafe.
On a side note, Spoiled Pet Cafe will not be set up in Market Square on Saturday, June 26th because we will be at the Nashville Expo with our complete line of pet accessories (including a wide selection of pet strollers)! We hope to see you in Nashville and if you can’t make it, we will see you on Wednesday, June 30th at the Market Square Farmers’ Market.
So take a break and take a stroll through Market Square!

A Look Behind The Curtain of Spoiled Pet Cafe at Knoxville's Market Square Farmers' Market 06-09-2010
We love rain when it is…watering the garden…providing a cooling respite on a hot day…reminding us of the varied and fanciful ways of mother nature. But, we don’t really like the rain when we are preparing for a day at Knoxville’s Market Square Farmers’ Market. On Wednesday, the skies were heavy with clouds full of raindrops wanting to do what they do…fall on our heads. Being a market day, I couldn’t really take the time to dance and play in the rain as one is sometimes prone to do. Instead, Spoiled Pet Cafe found itself putting up the walls to our tent to minimize the impact of the rain on the all natural, gourmet dog and cat treats. The rain didn’t last long. Once it had cleared away we were able to open our tent walls to allow the business people, families, and assorted other adventurous types to wander in and pick up those treats and chews that many of our furry, four legged cousins have come to love. Spoiled Pet Cafe would like to say thank you to all of you who ventured out to visit us this past Wednesday 06-09-2010. We hope you enjoy these two pictures from the soggy Wednesday Market.

Saturdays at Knoxville’s Market Square Farmers Market is always exciting. Not only are there an increased number of vendors but there is also a big increase in the number of leashed canines and felines enjoying an afternoon in Market Square. There are tails wagging, strollers full of young and old pups, and sometimes young humans who are willing
to share their goodies with us! Although we do love this unexpected surprises, one thing to keep in mind is that the chocolate and the raisins that are in some of the delicious baked goods can be quite harmful to pets. If you would like to give us something special, stop by the Spoiled Pet Cafe booth and pick up some goodies!

Spoiled Pet Cafe will be vending our all natural, gourmet cat and dog treats at Knoxville’s Market Square Farmers’ Market. This season we have had wonderful response from our canine and feline friends and their humans. We like to think that this positive response is due to the fresh ingredients, lack of wheat products, and the love and care that we put into all of our treats. You may also have noticed some positive changes on our website as we have been spending a lot of time adding products and will continue to do so. This weekend we are hoping to have all of our gourmet dog treats added to the site. This will allow you to once again purchase treats directly from the website for shipment to the 48 continental states; the gourmet dog food is already available!
